ScanPost, together with a suitable scanbody, is an aid for intraoral optical recording of the implant position. This eliminates the need for conventional impressions using impression posts for transfer to a plaster model. ScanPost is available for various implant systems and diameters and can be used up to 50 times. Depending on the camera system used, separately available scanbodies are required (scanbodies for Omnicam or scanbodies for Bluecam). A TiBase with the same name extension is used for the final restoration.
