The Maier radiation protection shield is designed according to DIN EN 61331-3 and has a lead insert of 0.6 mm.

• It safely captures the useful radiation beam in all intraoral X-rays and is held under the chin using an interchangeable handle.
  
• Tested by the German Institute for Radiation Protection in Munich.
