Icon Caries Infiltrant, vestibular, pack of 7 sets

In addition to the possibility of stopping caries, Icon can also mask white spots caused by caries or fluorosis on smooth tooth surfaces. Air and water pockets created during the caries process have a lower light refractive index than healthy tooth structure. This leads to unaesthetic discoloration, the “white spots”. The infiltrant has a similar light refractive index to healthy tooth enamel and makes it possible to compensate for the difference in light refraction. In this way, the appearance of the infiltrated lesion can be brought back into line with the surrounding healthy enamel.
