Spark eroded NiTi files.
The flexible file is ideal for dentists who want to quickly achieve reliable results with a reduced file sequence. The HyFlex EDM is produced using an innovative manufacturing process called Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM for short). The spark erosion used creates a unique, hardened surface that improves cutting performance and makes the files particularly break-proof. Like the proven HyFlex CM files, all HyFlex EDM files are characterized by their high flexibility. In contrast to classic NiTi files, they have almost no restoring effect. Thanks to the so-called controlled memory effect, the file moves optimally in the center of the canal, which further minimizes the risks of via falsa.
