Conventional antibacterial debridement additives have only limited clinical use. The anti-inflammatory, hemostatic and antibacterial HybenX effectively decontaminates the pocket by dehydrating the biofilm. In this way, the biofilm is denatured, detaches and can be removed by rinsing. HybenX contains sulfonated phenols and sulfuric acid, which form tissue denaturants in an aqueous solution (or in the form of a gel). The composition of the ingredients is selected in such a way that HybenX removes the vital water from the biofilm and thus biologically degrades it. Due to the intact membranes, it does not damage healthy cell structures or healthy mucous membranes, but only destroys damaged tissue, coagulates the opened microvessels and closes the wound. It therefore immediately reduces the patient's pain and the infectious burden. The body is thus able to convert the cellular, hemorrhage and energetic expenditure on its own defense and regeneration processes into a faster, more intensive natural healing process.
