GC's Initial LiSi Press is the first lithium disilicate ceramic blank with high density micronization (HDM), a technology developed in-house by GC. It uses evenly distributed lithium disilicate microcrystals to fill the entire glass matrix, rather than using traditional large crystals that do not utilize the matrix structure to its full extent. This ensures that the product remains stable and no deformation or volume loss occurs even after multiple firings.
