The Maier radiation protection shield is designed in accordance with DIN EN 61331-3 and has a lead insert of 0.6 mm. It reliably captures the useful beam of radiation during all intraoral X-rays and is held under the chin on an interchangeable handle. Tested by the German Institute for Radiation Protection in Munich.
