Ceram.X duo, the system with two different translucencies, offers four dentin shades with the low translucency of natural dentin and three enamel shades that imitate the high translucency of natural tooth enamel. This system has been optimized for aesthetically demanding restorations with a minimum of colors. With the enamel colors, the novel nanoceramic matrix in conjunction with the optimized size distribution of the filler particles ensures an ideal balance between handling and optical properties. For the restoration of bleached teeth, Ceram.X duo also offers a bleaching dentin shade. The Ceram.X i-shade label (color identification label) makes color selection easier; Both Ceram.X mono and Ceram.X duo cover the entire Vita Classical color range. Ceram.X is used in combination with Prime&Bond NT, the nanotechnology adhesive for the total etch technique, or the self-etching one-step adhesive Xeno III.
